What are Personalized Game Recommendations?

The Backbone mobile app provides personalized game recommendations based on your gaming preferences and habits. 

Where to find Personalized Game Recommendations

Recommendations are shown in two places in the Backbone app:

1. At the end of the your games row, listed after all of your recently played games.

   

2. Or as a row labeled "Suggested Titles" on the search page.

   

How to edit the Personalization Survey

The personalization survey first appears during onboarding when you create your Backbone account. After onboarding the survey can be edited from 3 places within the Backbone app.

1. Select 'Update content preferences' at the end of the Suggested Titles row on the Search page.

2. Select 'Update content preferences at the end of the list of suggested titles in the recently played games row.

Or

3. Navigate to Menu --> Settings --> Content

The personalization survey has 3 categories: Platforms, Genres, and Playstyle. You can go back and edit them at any time to change what kind of games the personalization engine recommends to you.
