The Backbone Pro can be used as a game controller on laptops, tablets, and many other devices by connecting them via a USB-C cable. Simply connect one end of the cable to the USB-C port on the bottom of the Backbone Pro and the other end to the port on your desired device. The battery of the Backbone Pro will also charge when using this setup.
Additional Tips
- A Backbone+ subscription is not required to Play On Any Screen with a wired connection on the Backbone Pro.
- The USB-C port on the bottom of the Backbone Pro does not transmit video/audio data, so it is unable to display this information on an external device. (Casting your phone's screen directly to an external display, for example.)
